THE TIN CAN STORY
What started as a hobby, quickly began to snow ball when Tyler Marshall and Mark Oleniuk got involved in brewing beer. Initially it was a way to kill some time, drink good beer, and learn the techniques of making a really good beer. But after a handful of batches they both knew they could make it so much more.

The idea for Better Beer for the Greater Good came early on, as they both knew they wanted to do more than just brew good beer. They wanted to create a sense of community and give back through their efforts.

Although it's still early days on their journey, the vision is clear, create a unique brewing company, that makes great beer, helps others, and enjoy the journey they're both taking in this venture!
BUILDING A BREWERY
From basement to brewhouse
We're still a small batch brewer working with pretty basic equipment, but the goal is to grow our operation to a level where we're able to produce great beers for craft beer lovers everywhere!
How we're going to get there? Bootstrapping! As part of the unique story we wanted to raise our funds in a non-traditional manner, and keeping that community feel in mind. What does that mean? Selling old stuff, saving every penny, and we're bringing back the old time tradition of trading! If you have interesting items that you want to trade for some good beer and help us on our journey, we'd love to hear from you!

GIVING BACK
For the greater good
As we mentioned, we want to be more than another craft brewer, we want to get people involved, and give back where we can.

The vision once we get to commercialization, is that for every purchase you make from our brewery, we will donate a percentage of our proceeds to local foodbanks! Buy some tin cans and we'll donate some tin cans! It's really a win-win. Drink good beer, and feel good about doing it!
